Q: Super excited to have you guys here. It’s like sitting with gaming royalty!
Virus: Ha! Gaming royalty is high praise!
Sage: (laughs) I wouldn’t know about gaming royalty! Thank you, though. We’re excited to be here too.
Q: I see we’re playing the modest card today. Alright, that’s fair. Let's dive right in. Our number 1 question from the community is “How do I get better at
Call of Duty Mobile?”. What advice do you have for them?
Sage: Sure thing. The best advice I can give is to learn from others. You can get better by watching content creators on YouTube. I’d recommend players like Kithcodm, Iferg, Cygnoux, and of course, Sagecodm. You should also play more ranked matches. The more you play, the better you get.
Virus: I agree 100%. Bonus advice– when practicing or playing, you should dedicate enough time to work on different aspects of your gameplay. You should also analyze your own performance critically. Identify your weaknesses and work on them consciously. Improvement comes with time and dedication.
Q: Facts! Now, let's talk about getting the most kills in Call of Duty: Mobile. What strategies can players employ to achieve this?

Sage: My answer to this is pretty basic, so I’ll just go first and Virus can go on.
Always make sure your back is covered wherever you are. Don't go running around in the middle of the map. Also, try to work on your aim and find your perfect sensitivity (you can check how to on YouTube), and try predicting spawns to know where the enemies are coming from and where to position yourself on the map.
Virus: Hahaha, actually, you’re speaking my mind. Getting the most kills is a combination of skill, strategy, and being aware of your surroundings. So, work on your aim and accuracy through regular practice. Secondly, focus on map control. Like Sage said you need to understand the map layout, as high-traffic areas and certain positions will help you encounter more opps and secure kills.
Working well with your teammates, communicating effectively, and utilizing killstreaks and power-ups can also contribute to higher kill counts.
Q: Well, you know what they say about like minds! These sound like fantastic approaches. Let's move on to the topic of aiming quickly in Call of Duty: Mobile. What techniques can players use to enhance their aiming speed?
Virus: Easy. It all boils down to practice and familiarity with your weapon of choice. Firstly, find a comfortable sensitivity setting that allows for swift movement without sacrificing accuracy. Experiment with different settings until you find the one that feels right for you. Then, learning to pre-aim and predict enemy movement can significantly improve your reaction time.
There are also certain attachments and perks that can enhance aim speed, so explore different load-outs to find the best combination for your play style.
Sage: Yup. The gunsmith is important. You can build your gun to aim faster. Some weapons naturally have a faster aim-down-sights (ADS) time, while certain attachments can further enhance this aspect. Using perks that boost agility and mobility can make your overall movement and aim quicker as well.
Also, using more fingers make things faster. For example, I use a 6-finger HUD. It's all about finding the right combination that suits your play style.
Q: Those are some valuable tips, guys. Up next is an interesting question: What is the best setup in Call of Duty: Mobile? What factors should players consider to optimize their gaming experience?
Sage: I’m pretty specific with this one. My best setup is a CBR4 (arguably the best gun in COD) + Klaw with a trophy system and a frag grenade.
Virus: That’s actually a sick setup. I can’t fault that, so I’ll just breeze through some external factors to add to this I think should be a great list:
- Invest in a capable device for smooth gameplay and good graphics performance. A device specifically designed for gaming, like the ROG 6 or 7, can provide an edge.
- A stable and reliable internet connection to minimize lag and latency issues.
- Lastly, customize your control settings to suit your preferences and find a layout that feels comfortable and intuitive.
Q: Those are some great perspectives. When it comes to aiming your weapon, where would you say is the best place to aim in Call of Duty: Mobile?

Sage: You should generally try to aim for the upper body parts of the enemy as you'll deal higher damage than on the legs.
Virus: Yeah, aiming at the upper body or head increases the likelihood of securing one-shot kills or rapidly weakening opponents. However, you should adapt your aim based on the specific situation, such as the movement of your target or what type of cover is between you and your kill.
Q: Straight for the head. Got it! Now, for the runners and track stars, let's talk about running faster in CoDM. Are there any strategies or factors that contribute to increased speed in the game?

Sage: Make yourself lighter. You should use lighter guns like SMGs to run faster. Or switch to a grenade or knife to increase movement speed. Oh and practice your slide and jump movements effectively– as these can help you navigate the map faster and catch opponents off-guard
Virus: Some lightweight or agility-based perks like Lightweight can also enhance your overall speed. These perks allow you to sprint more quickly and maintain agility while moving around the map.
Q: Those are some effective techniques. Let's address game settings. It can be tricky, but what settings do you recommend players use?
Sage: You’re right about it being tricky because it’s all about the type of device you use. As a rule of thumb though, if you use an iPad or tablet, you should use the highest field of vision– that’s 90. Mobile phones work best with a lower FOV like 70 so you can see enemies better.
Virus: It’s a little different for me, and this just proves it’s all about what works best for you. For me, the ideal sensitivity setting would be around 80. This allows for a good balance between aiming speed and precision. But that’s just me.
Sage: Yeah, so that’s the thing, it’s all about what works for you individually. So it’s best to experiment with different sensitivity levels to find the one that suits your playstyle. You should also consider adjusting your control layout to maximize comfort and accessibility.
Virus: Exactly!
Q: Love how you two agree to disagree! Speaking of weapons, let's talk about selection. Which guns do you recommend players level up?
Sage: I don’t like to mince words about my guns. Top on my choice list would be Cbr4, Kilo141, Dlq33, Krig6, and FFAR
Virus: A man straight to the point. I can’t fault any of those choices too, so I’ll just say you should experiment with different gun types, consider professional player preferences, and find the weapons that suit your playstyle the most.
Putting your ear down in the community could help give insights too, so you know just what guns have all the buzz.
Q: Okay! Now, opps are the biggest obstacle to making it out of any match. So, as a measure of self-preservation, how can you spot enemies better in Call of Duty Mobile?

Sage: It’s like being in the wild if you ask me. Spotting enemies effectively takes heightened situational awareness and attentive gameplay. Pay close attention to visual cues such as movement, shadows, or muzzle flashes– they’re your hint to reveal enemy positions.
Use a lower FOV to make your enemies bigger. You can also use a medium graphic setting if your device is strong enough to handle it without lags. Anything to add, Virus?
Virus: Bro, you’ve covered it! I’d just add that you should utilize the minimap to monitor the enemy's presence and anticipate their movements.
Q: Those are some excellent strategies. All key to spotting and taking out all enemies. We’re on to the last question, and then it’s a wrap. Lastly, let's discuss playing like a pro. As members of a pretty solid pro team, What does it take to play Call of Duty Mobile at a professional level?

Sage: TEAM PLAY, man. Play scrims with your clanmates against other clans. Watch the world championship streams on YouTube and you'll learn a lot from them. Just keep grinding the game.
Virus: Yeah, it’s all about mindset and skills. You need to develop a strong game sense. Understand map layouts, spawn points, and objective locations. Communicate and coordinate effectively with your teammates. Clear communication, sharing information, and working together as a cohesive unit can greatly improve your gameplay.
Q: Amazing stuff! Those are fantastic insights for playing at a professional level. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise with us today, champs. It's been a pleasure having you here.
Sage: The pleasure has been all mine!
Virus: Thank you for having me. It was fun!
It’s a wrap!
